Taryn’s career in the construction industry began in 1987 when she joined Hensel Phelps as a Field Engineer. During her tenure, she has worked from coast to coast, being promoted through all key staff positions and directly responsible for the successful delivery of work put in place. Taryn served as Manager of Work Procurement for the company directly preceding her election in June 2005 as Vice President and District Manager of the Plains District. Taryn is an active member in the community devoting significant time to the Tennyson Center for Children and the Untied Way. Taryn received the 2004 ATHENA Award from the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce for her outstanding professional accomplishments and her contributions to the community. She recently received the 2009 Denver Business Journal outstanding Women in Business award. |
